ME
I’m Working as an Industrial designer and 3D Artist while travelling involves a lot of stress, challenges and many problems to solve. Not only you need to maintain your work but also where you will be for the day, week or months. However, while dealing with this, you have the opportunity to see some truly remarkable things filled with plenty of new experiences to help draw inspiration. New buildings, people, landscape and way of life all influence me in so many ways and I’m very happy that I can use this for inspiration for design. The road trips are some of my favourites especially a window seat on a train. Working in this environment is always a joy to look outside and take inspiration from your surroundings. Another tip is to go and see museums or exhibitions, I’ve seen a lot of these when I have the budget and it is always fantastic to see other people’s work even if very old or new. As a designer I could not pass the chance to travel around Europe. The chance to be inspire by new designs everyday is the reason I’m more motivated then ever to work and travel. Travel-Friendly Design Tool to Seek Inspiration
Travel-friendly design tools like the iPad Pro, equipped with apps such as Procreate, empower modern designers to create on the go. The iPad Pro, with its powerful capabilities and Apple Pencil support, transforms into a portable design studio, allowing for quick edits to sketch and illustrate wherever inspiration strikes. Procreate, a digital canvas app, extends this creativity, while I also use my laptop mainly with the help of Blender, adapting for on-the-go 3D design that can be inspired by my surroundings. A camera, whether on a smartphone or dedicated device, becomes a fundamental tool for documenting real-world inspiration, capturing textures, patterns, and colour palettes. My Camera album is now full of so many photos from memories to idea sparking inspiration. These tools collectively ensure that creativity remains boundless, transcending traditional workspaces and turning each travel destination into an opportunity for design innovation. See here for more information on tools and my personal preference.
